Well, it's about time we mention you, eh Jai? It's been a while since you've been here, and I swear, you're one of the most faithful members IH has. Even when you've posted on the Away board and such, I'm still amazed at how active you are, really! Furthermore, Jai's wonderfully helpful, and not to mention a wonderful rp'er as well. Perhaps the biggest reason for why you're getting this spot is a bit personal though...you're really supportive. When Ves was being an emoface, you always cheered me up, and for that, I thank you <3 Jai's just awesome that way, don't forget to treat her like so! x3 Congrats Jai!

COTM; Lady Kerryn
Whoo! Time for this to finally change, eh? This month, the spotlight is upon a character I think everyone finds QUITE charming, none other than Lady Kerryn. Not only was she the FIRST tumult, but also the first Tumult to become a noble. Furthermore, she's nothing but a sweetheart. Absolutely. From holding a really epic part in a really epic romance, but being utterly kind to utterly strange characters...-pokes her Alien- She's just one of those characters you simply HAVE to rp with. Congrats, Wispy and Kerryn!
June 29| Eh, this place needed a Clean up. So before Ves left, she did so. Kill her when she gets back, ok? It's been a bit quiet...but that's summer for you. We're working on it. You all be good now >3 There's a skin change and Global Plot change coming soon, so don't die out on us just yet! Ves was being epic and didn't agree on a COTM. So, dear Kerryn, we're gonna stare at you for a little while longer. Mwah. Unless Ves gets a sudden brainwave, I guess that's the only thing I'm not touching at the moment. Erm. That's all for now. As a note. 3 days. You'll all note that I'm getting solemnly loopy as time goes by. Darn that idiot Summer School. -skuttles away-

` THE NORTH
Palmali (6 sub-boards) The Northern Region boasts the best array of shifting land masses. A few have stated that the apparent creator of Himaryn resides in these lands also. Rumors only, however. Palmali is no holy ground in terms of appearance. Moutains crown the parameters of the territory, making navigation an epic quest of its own. Apart from the daunting stature of the Palmali Mountains, Ground level navigation is tampered as well...due to heavy forestration. These lands are Royal grounds, taken forth by the rulers of the North. It's expected to have a strong will and constant Flight or Fight demeanour at had. It's the only way to survive.
Senra Plains (7 sub-boards) Senra was, before hand, a flowing river of great magnitude. Due to the shifiting of land, however, it's potency has been greatly diminished, moreso becoming a vast, flat plain. In stark contrast to the heavy forests of Palmali, Senra is rather gentle in terms of visual appeal, along with being far more confortable and laid back in terms of living conditions. A rather large stream still runs through the center of the region, the only remaining fraction of the great Senra River.
Goddess Falls (6 sub-boards) The area of Goddess Falls is blessed with the glourious stock of Water which falls from a mysterious opening in the upper halves of the remanent of Kayana Mountains. The land rifts have caused the water out put to intensify, though the new out put of water has caused the land itself to become all the more glourious, due to a permanent hazy mist emmited from the base of the falls. This mist, however, over takes the entire region, so the land has taken on a cloaked appeal. Apart from all this, the forestation in this area is thick as well, refugees, slaves, and spirits usually make their abode here, in order to flee from their captors.
Altean River (8 sub-boards) Perhaps one can say that Altean was a sister river to the White River, yet others say it is the remains of that River. Regardless all this, the River is not a river. Shifted behind the Goddess Falls region, the river-like Indent is actually a stream of pure Mist, there is no water, or flowing river. Just a river of Mist.
It's like the Ghostly remains of the past White River, and so is also known as Phantom's River, For its misty make up moves, but is silent in all aspects. There is no sound of a river, nothing. In the night, the mist catches the Lunar rays, the mist looking much like shards of Glass. Foliage and Vegetation is not as common here as the rest of the North. Altean, therefore, stands out...in an eerie way.
Carpathian Mountains (6 sub-boards) A place of rocky outcrops, cliffs, and general mountainous terrain. Sturdy pines and old yews find their footing here, along with a sparse covering of strong grasses and bushes. Within the cover of the foliage and the stone, many small animals abound, making for good hunting for the smaller predator or the learning hunter. But watch your footing, loose rock and an unpredictable cave system can leave you injured in a cave without a way out.
Crystal Falls (8 sub-boards) The sound of the waterfall can be heard for miles around, but it’s actually hard to locate this hidden cascade. The water falls from a crevice in a rock cliff, falling down to a small ledge where it splits into four more streams that continue down independently. To reach the source of the water would be folly, but the small, but deep, pool of water at its base is cool and refreshing, drawing many animals from the forest surrounds. Marshier plants live near the water, thriving on the moist air of the falls.
Geneva's Sheath (7 sub-boards) As a sheath, being a massive Rock formation, is quite faithful to its name. Unlike the partner Sheath, Palisade, Geneva's sheath is rather barren in feel...mostly due to the lack of tropical vegetation, and even low-rise shrubs. Regardless all this, Geneva is much like Raven's Peak...massive formations of Rock crowning otherwise barren Golden Sands, the formations a cascade of Green, Teal, and Crystalline Blue.
Geneva's sheath also holds a massive shore line of the South, so accounted with the expanse of Water, and its peaks, Geneva could be argued as one of the more...beautiful...divisions of Himaryn. Still, the lack of plant life make the area treacherous in time of Rain, with no restraint, Floodings takes place quite easily. Tread softly.
Kypriral (5 sub-boards) From the foot of Crystal Falls extends a sanded area which resembles a Beach-like area. This area is far from normal, however, being permanently encloaked in darkened shades of violets, blues, and blacks. The Kypririal region, unlike the rest of the southern area, is quite outcasted. From the eyes of a winged creature, one could describe this one division as secluded on its own...by an omnious cloak of violet. As depressing as its lands may be, it has a deathly serenity to it as well...like the falls in the Northen hemisphere, it seems and ideal place for slaves, refugees, and spirits to wander without fear.
Palisade's Sheath (5 sub-boards) The name quite contradicts the way this section of the Southern region is laid out. Both a palisade and sheath describe a covering of some sort, but apart from the grand stalks of Palm trees which dot the region, the terra is all open. Golden sands crown the exterior borderlines of the area, pulling out into cascading waves of blue when the end point is reached. Opposite to the waters lies a densely vegetated plain holding a tropical feel to it, diverse in both hunting and living space. The second largest terrain of the Southern hemisphere.
Raven Peaks (3 sub-boards) The South could obviously be tagged for being most diverse in terms of land seperation and so forth. Raven peaks pulls away from the stereotypical description of Tropical, though holds its position in the South merely due to its weather. Much like a past area in Himaryn's history, Raven peaks is continously drenched in a cloak of Rain...never seeing signs of Snow in the winter, or droughts during a severe summer. Raven Peaks is well known for its omnious ebony-sheaned Peaks...having a glossy appeal to them as if they were crafted from glass. The rest of the terra seperates into flatlands...patches of Sandy areas scattered here and there.
Kosov (7 sub-boards) The past name of a past Kingdom still remains, for regardless the land masses shifting...it still stands firm with its proud appearance. The West could easily crown itself for being far deadlier than both the East and North, mainly due to the permanent cloak of Snow it wears. Like the North, Kosov is set apart as the Empire lands due to the mountains which crown its border, chiselled through with what seems like grand blocks of Crystalline white Ice, being pure and majestic in feel. However, new comers and the faint of heart will not be treated kindly here, the lands are for those willing to adapt to a life style around Bloodshed.
Icy Plain (9 sub-boards) This is actually the site of a lake, but most of the year only a pond-sized hole in the center attests to that fact. Though the ice may probably be able to hold weight in the colder months, it is still very treacherous and could crack under a creature’s weight, sending it into the freezing water. In the summer, it is simply impossible to walk across. But because there is little difference between the water and shore, many don’t know the danger until it’s too late.
Delquay (5 sub-boards) A tundra region that lies at the foot of the Kingdom, being constantly cloaked, however, in grains of White Sand. From a distance, the great dunes and crevices of the land look like the purest of Snow, though no snow ever reached these lands...regardless the closeness to the Kingdom. Mind you, however, these lands will feel temperature fluxes, the lack of snow seems to be a blessing in times of Winter. Winged creatures would fare best in the sands of Delquay. Vegetation flourishes in these grounds, though like the surrounding sands, their leaves are permanently cloaked in shades of Silver, White, and Grey.
Brookhaven Bay (5 sub-boards) Perhaps the most misplaced of all landmasses, over to the opposite borderlines of Delquay, and still rather close to the main Kingdom. However, regardless of all this, the lands still hold onto the peculiar flux of a tropic region. Snow and cold never seem to lay a grasp on these humid lands, though masses of fog have been rumoured to dissipate over the land at random times. This fact has earned Brook haven the Nickname of Ghost Bay. A Temple ruin lies at the heart of the land mass, along with a grand covering of Trees, and of course, the Great Bay
Desert Mer'Cray (7 sub-boards) At long last, to the Eastern hemisphere of the Isle lies the water deprived land of Sands. Mer' Crey boasts, by far, the most arid of regions upon the entire Isle. Sands of a soft golden apparel cloak the face of the terrain. Unlike its counterpart land masses, Mer' Cray lacks both sources of much vegetation and water, though as stereotypical as it may be, the central region of the dessert is quite well flourished. Mind you now, reaching the central region is no easy feat...those who can take to the skies are best fitted here.
Naicor (9 sub-boards) Once in the past times of Himaryn this area differed from other areas on the isle. The environment was rocky and sandy, like a steppe with minimal vegetation. The land rifts, however, have brought these barren grounds into the Eastern region...and the lands are now more at home amoung the others.
Heat is not so much of a problem, being rather comfortable all year round, due to its closer vincity to the Southern and Western Hemispheres, and therefore having a contant stream of cool air running through it. However, the obscure structures of Rock and Sand make foot work quite a feet. The lands also unearthed what seems to a be a Temple Ruin. Rumors, however, have kept many away from that one region.
Bysae (9 sub-boards) Bysae, the inactive Volcano of the past has found itself rifted into the border lands of the Great Dessert. However, like most Volcanic lands, the foot of this grand volcano sets forth a well vegetated area. The temperature fluxes, and the near by dessert give the area a bit of a Savannah feel to it, however.
Farther into it's history, apart from being an Inactive Volcano, it is said to be a sacrificial peak. It's also feared due to the fact that it gives off a humid glow every so often, as if it is to go active once more...Though its known it never will again. They say if one reaches the top, Bysae will be reawaken once more...though the task is by far much more easier said than done. The frequent storms make it near impossible to go more than Half-way. The Darker one of Personality seem to appeal to this area most...The Land is also nicknamed the Land of Assassins.
Kuylan Plains (8 sub-boards) More so a savannah, rather than a plain, but it could be argued, merely because this area is most flourished in terms of Vegetation, most likely because of its closeness to the Bysae volcano.
Still, the lands remain barren. In terms of Quadroped life. Hunting is rather scarce here, and it's most probably due to the closeness of the Volcano. Apart from that, Sand is still heavy set, and with the cage of vegetation, Sand storms here...are a bit more dangerous.
A female dominated Spartan society. Males beware. By special request.
Red Mountain Dens (9 sub-boards) Here is a rockier area of the desert, where large rock formations stick up out of the sand. Within these formations can be found caves, most small and rough, but with a few that are perhaps large enough for a tiger couple. There is also a plateau that could be reached on the largest of these outcroppings, its surface similar to that of a stage, with one of the medium caverns behind it.
The caverns tell lies from their outward appearance, however, plainly due to the fact that within their central region lies the sacred Temple region. Ruins, of course, for the land shifts have unearthed such things...however...reaching to the ruins isn't all that...difficult. Still, best shy away and stay near the Dens.
Revir Etihe Forest (3 sub-boards) The Only part of the central region which lacks any sort of bird population. Though the most common, obviously, is the Raven, Crow, and Vulture. The forest is pretty much...just a graveyard. Or so the scene has set it self out to be. There's a species of tree here that's dubbed the "Chain vine", due to the heavy chain-like vines that hang from montrously high trees. Though they're...peculiar. This is the home of the Cult.
Night brings forth rumors of Revir Etihe: "Bone Wolves", though not wolves at all, rather half-breeds who have the looks of the past king, yet will silent devour those who traspass unwanted. Of course, these a rumors, but the mind can play trick on its master, can't it?
Malontra Canyon Though the central region is mostly dominated by birds, there is no real claiming of territory, except the peaks. This canyon, therefore, has been taken hold of the "greater" species as the battle grounds. Though fights break out anywhere, these lands are undisturbed.

Somal Plains (1 sub-board) Located at the foot of the Peaks, and between the Canyon, lies a series of flat lands pleasantly named the Somal Plains. Unlike the rest of the Isle, these lands are meant to remark peace in...hence the closeness to the Battle Grounds. A merging area, if you may...the weather here much like the Southern Region of the Isle. These lands are Unclaimable, and all can trod here without...much fear.
Pramortai Peaks At long last, The creatures renounced as Familiars have laid claim to their own land as well…Similar to past times, a grand peak accessible to only the “Familiars”. The Peaks over look the entire Isle, being a single collection of closely fitted formations ranging from shades of Silver to Indigo. Like the Raven Peaks, the formations of these lands seem to be chiselled from Glass. The apparent “Masters” of the birds are not permitted to lay foot on these grounds.
Unlike the Wolves, Felines, or Foxes, the Birds are communal...they see no need in following Leaders, henceforth, their lands are free from Kings, Queens, or Nobles.

Phenca Silcalla Though the Peaks crown the border lands of this minor landmass, the birds allow for the “Higher Species” of the Isle to lay foot here. As if on queue, the lands are rather flat landed, and easily manoeuvrable for those who are not accustomed to the skies. Birds and the Higher Species come here to meet, Birds wanting to lay claim to a master or mistress wander to these calmer lands.
